What TrueEarn is
Two things that come with one licence, and that you can use together or on their own: the books (this website, where you record what you earn and spend) and the copilot (an Android app that reads the offer on your screen and shows what it really pays your hour).
What it isn't
- It is not an accountant. It organises your figures so a real accountant doesn't have to. It does not tell you what you owe and it does not file anything with HMRC.
- It does not give tax or financial advice. If you're unsure whether to register for VAT, what you can claim, or how to file, ask a qualified accountant.
- The copilot advises, it never acts. It shows you a number and a colour. Accepting or declining a job is always your decision, and you make it safely.
Getting it right is a shared job
We work hard on the maths and we test it. But the figures depend on what you enter and on what the platforms show on screen. Check your numbers before you rely on them — especially at tax time.
The app and the platforms
The copilot is installed directly from this site, not from the Play Store. It reads what's on your screen to work out the value of an offer. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Uber, Bolt or any other platform. Using it is your choice and your responsibility.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself. Tell us if something looks wrong. Don't use TrueEarn to break the law. We may suspend an account that's being abused.
Paying
TrueEarn is free while we're testing. When that ends you buy a code for a fixed time. There is no subscription and we keep no card on file, so nobody gets charged by surprise.
Stopping
You can stop whenever you like and take your data with you (there's an export button). Ask us and we'll close the account.
If something goes wrong
We'll do our best to fix it quickly. TrueEarn is provided as it is, and we can't be responsible for decisions you make on the road or for what you file with HMRC.
Written in plain English by the people who built it, not by a solicitor.
